UNE MAISON HISTORIQUE DE CARACTERE ET D’AUTHENTICITE
Bienvenue dans notre maison familiale un véritable havre de paix niché au cœur du plateau du Larzac au milieu d’une nature préservée et spectaculaire. Ici vous profiterez d’un cadre rare ou le silence, la beauté brute de paysage et l’histoire se rencontrent.
Ses 195 m2 offrent beaucoup d’espace pour les familles, les groupes d’amis ou les voyageurs en quête d’un lieu inspirant. Les pièces sont confortables et agencées pour vivre des moments conviviaux tout en préservant la tranquilité de chacun.

POUR LES AMOUREUX DE NATURE DE D’AUTHENTICITE
La maison est située au cœur d’un territoire unique classé au patrimoine mondial de l’UNESCO. Randonnées, paysages lunaires, villages médiévaux, brebis du Larzac, silence absolu. Ici on décroche vraiment.
La maison est répartie sur un rdc et un étage. Au rdc les pièces de vie, de toilettes et une chambre. Au premier étage un bureau, trois chambres ( dont une est accessible en traversant une autre) , un cabinet de toilette avec wc, un deuxième salon et une deuxième cuisine.
L’entrée de la maison de fait par la cuisine . Face à la cuisine se trouve la terrasse qui permet de prendre au printemps et en été les repas à l’extérieur en plein nature.

LA TERRASSE
De plein pied avec la maison on découvre une grande terrasse entièrement en bois, comme une scene posée au milieu du paysage. Ici rien ne vient troubler la vue: devant vous c’est la nature a perte de regard. Aucun vis a vis, aucune route, seulement le mouvement des arbres et le ciel.
La terrasse devient ainsi le cœur du séjour: un belvédère sur la nature, une invitation a la contemplation, un refuge ou l’on vit dehors.

De la cuisine au même niveau se trouve la chambre 1. De la cuisine on accède aussi ( 3 marches) au salon, puis à la salle de bain , à la salle d’eau et a 2 WC.
De la cuisine on accède enfin , par un escalier, à l’étage supérieur dans le bureau à partir duquel on accède aux chambres, au bureau et a un deuxième salon et une deuxième cuisine. L’étage est aussi accessible par l’extérieur de la maison via une autre entrée.
La maison est équipée de la fibre optique. Le WI fi est disponible dans toutes les pièces.

Tous les éléments authentiques ont été conservé. L’élément le plus particulier est relatif au sol de cuisine. Les dalles sont des « pierres de pluie ». Elles sont le baromètre de la maison. Lorsque sur le sol une fiche couche d’humidité se forme et le rends luisant c’est le signe de la pluie dans quelques heures.

La mare au bord du jardin au pied de la maison est attachée à la rivière dit le « Merdan ». En cas de fortes pluies sur le plateau du Larzac en automne, en hiver ou au printemps elle peut devenir en quelques minutes un fort torrent qui va se jeter dans la rivière de la Sorgues

Tout d’abord le respect du voisinage et de la nature est prépondérant pour nous. Si vous êtes fumeur nous vous remercions de ne pas fumer dans la maison ni jeter vos mégots dans la nature, idem pour tous les déchets pouvant provenir de l’activité humaine.

Familly house. House on two floors built in 1380 in the middle of nature 6km from the village of Cornus, at the source of the Sorgues. The 195 m2 house was completely restored in 2023. It includes 4 bedrooms, two toilets, an office, 2 living room, 2 kitchens, a terrace, a shower room, a bathroom, a garden.
It was attached to the Château de Sorgues, which adjoins it and probably housed its guards.

All authentic elements have been preserved.

🌲 For Nature Lovers and Seekers of Authentic Experiences

The home is set within a UNESCO World Heritage landscape. Hiking paths, lunar-like plateaus, medieval villages, the iconic Larzac sheep, and absolute silence shape an experience that is both pure and rejuvenating. Here, you truly disconnect.

The basin in nature instead of the garden at the foot of the house is attached to the river « Merdan » in case of heavy rain on the Larzac plateau in autumn, winter or spring it can become in a few minutes a strong torrent that will flow into the river of the Sorgues

First of all, respect for the neighborhood and nature is paramount to us.

1/ IT IS FORBIDDEN TO LIGHT FIREPLACES, BREAD OVENS AND MAKE FIRES IN NATURE;

For safety reasons, the chimneys of the house are closed and the drain is closed. It is therefore completely impossible to try to use it

2/ WASTE DISPOSAL

Several bins in the house allow you to sort between food waste, glass and plastic and cardboard.

To evacuate them, there are several solutions:

In the village of Cornus, specific bins for each type of waste will allow you to evacuate it.

3/ USE OF HOUSEHOLD EQUIPMENT

-MUSIC

To listen to music, there is a bluetooh terminal in the living room.

Turn on the amp and select in your bluetooth settings: WTX-500.

-TV

Some of the TVs (living room and bedroom on the ground floor) are connected to a satellite dish and allow you to receive 32 French channels.

The TV in the bedroom of the second on the left is a smart TV, its operation is linked to the internet.

-WATER

The water in the house is drinkable, it is of high quality and comes directly from the source of the Sorgues

The hot water is made from two hot water tanks, one for each bathroom. It is not provided in unlimited quantities. We thank you, also out of respect for water resources, to turn off the water while you soap up.

-FAUNA

A wide variety of birds and present around the house including rabbits, wild boar, squirrels and dormice. The latter, who are particularly intelligent and greedy, are used to running on rooftops and sometimes breaking into attics. They are in no way a danger to humans, but live at night, sometimes causing the sounds of nocturnal cavalcades.
